Check out this interview with Adam talking about his book, his writing process, and how he went from first draft to finished book. For an appetizer, here's Adam's encouragement to anyone currently in the idea/first draft stage:

Pickleball Book at Pickle Fest

Speaking of Lakeview Chicago, last weekend was Pickle Fest in Wrigleyville. What better spot to hand out some free copies of our recently published Pickleball book by Vicki Sheaffer and Chanda Cook.

Mark the calendar, Friday, May 3rd we're running our first "Free Book Friday." For now, just one winner. And we'll keep doing this --- you guessed it -- the first Friday of every month.

If you've ever purchased a Long Overdue book, congrats, you are IN the running!

If you purchase a book between now and Friday, you're IN.

Eh, we're feeling generous. If you've never purchased one of our books, but you like books and you like contests, shoot us an email (library@longoverduestories.com) and you'll be in the running.

So, who will win the first Free Book Friday?

"Speaking of Lakeview, can we get back

to that new Bonci pizza place?"

Keeping up with Long Overdue

Best place to keep up with all things Long Overdue is a tie between our monthly newsletter and our Instagram page. If you enjoy this newsletter and know someone who might enjoy it as well, let us know, we'll make sure to add them to our subscriber list. We also got back on Facebook recently, you can follow us here.

And check out our website - Long Overdue Books. Long Overdue Books is a community for creating books. It's a place for authors (and soon-to-be-authors), readers, editors, artists, and designers to come together and move their stories from ideas to finished books.

Also, if you have any questions, ideas, stories to tell, you can reach Cal the Librarian at - library@longoverduestories.com
