Couple of updates to share about Safe Landing.
First, our three author heroes joined Cyrus Webb for his radio show on Blog Talk Radio. You can catch the full interview here, or by clicking the image below.
Second - Our (one-sided) rivalry with Jeff Bezos aside, we are seeing nice momentum via book sales on Amazon. One thing that helps drive this is the number of positive reviews. Thank you to everyone who posted a review on Goodreads. Small additional request, if you have 5-10 minutes we'd love to see more reviews on Amazon. This helps get the book in front of more people.
Also, if you know Reese Witherspoon or Oprah, that helps too. Let us know!
And thank you to Cyrus Webb (seriously, this guy is awesome. The ultimate professional) for leaving this wonderful review.
Alright. What else, what else. Oh! Melody welcomed a new grandson into the world (Bram Lincoln). Please reach out to Melody for photos, height/weight stats, etc. I don't think she'll mind 😉
Our friend Ellen is introducing the book to, I believe, two different book clubs. And a former teaching colleague of Kim's (Angel Rivera) took this great photo of the book on top of Bill and Nudy's bricks at the memorial.
The local bookstore Sandmeyer's (not far from Jim's bar, First Draft) is now carrying the book. You can also find it on Target's website. In a little under 5 months, Safe Landing is in a handful of local bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, this book is becoming well traveled!
Last but not least, did you know Kim and Peter make an incredible meat sauce and marinara sauce with veggies from their garden? My son (Caleb) wasn't so great at eating solids... until he had a meatball with their marinara. Now it's a totally different story.
(Sidenote - Made a great lasagna with their sauce this weekend. If you want the recipe, let me know. Secret weapon - no-boil lasagna noodles. Eh, who am I kidding, the secret was their sauce. I feel like I could've served cardboard noodles and it still would've tasted great.
Welp, that's all for now! Reminder, best place to order (where our authors receive the highest royalty) is right here in the Long Overdue bookstore. And if you're buying in bulk for gifts or a book club, let me know, we offer a 10% discount.
We will continue to keep you posted with upcoming author events, interviews, articles, and anything new about our author trio and their book. As you can see, this book warrants its own newsletter!
